Just by your words, you are a wonder to behold. No matter what, you will stick by her. I wish you were my best friend/ Honey, I'm so sorry for what you're going through. It just doesn't seem fair does it. Don't be upset over her insensitivity, you have a lot of support right her with those of us who went through it. Show her you are the better person You're not being stupid. She's just afraid of her mortality. The thought of dying has finally become real to her. Now she thinks she's the only one in the world and no one will understand. She needs a wake up call. Never abandoned people like that because she must be so lonely inside. Don't run up to her and hug her, just tell her you will always be there when she needs you. You are just a phone call away. You are a wonderful friend to have. Why anyone would treat you like that is beyond me because you sound so sweet. God bless you and take care of yourself first and foremost and remember, there are a lot of people on this forum that will talk you and support you always. Be blessed.
