Describe the general replication schemes of a DNA virus and plus-strand RNA virus?
DNA use dna-dependend dna polymerase (from cell) to make copies of its dna. uses cell polymerase to make protein in order to make capsid and bud off to make more progeny virus. plus strand RNA virus use RNA-dependent RNA polymerase to make minus strand. minus strand becomes template for making plus strand for new copy of + RNA genomes. the original + strand is already mRNA so can be translated into protein and with protein and new +strant RNA genome it forms new virion and budd off / hope that helps.
