Betweem Britain and France who is more power full sn EU?

As far as nuclear weapons, France has twice as many as Britian. As far as political clout in the EU, it's equal. Britian and France, both former world powers, see eye to eye on many issues involving Europe. Another key player, of course, is Germany. Some have said the EU will one day start to unite with Britian, France, and Germany as the three core countries and then branching out to countries like Spain and Italy.
