Should I be annoyed or am I just being sillly?

you sound exactly like me. I'm very proud of my home and my possessions as I worked very hard to get them. It frustrates and annoys me when people do not respect my property as much as I do. I've learned from experience though that it isn't worth arguing about. Everybody is different. Not everybody has the same values as people like us. It doesn't make them bad people, just occasionally annoying. You've told her and that's enough.
