Why do people say that people invented Christianity and believing in Yahweh?

Thats obviously not true. There are records of people following Yahweh even during the early stages of the Egyptian Empire. That was 4000 years ago. This isn't a new thing the Romans or any other governing body set up to "control the mes" I admit that possibly Catholicism was originally created for this, but not beliefs following Yahweh as a whole.
