Just finished first pack of birth control, got my period next day then it stopped?

Right after i finished my first pack, the next day i got my period, i thought it was perfectly good, although i admitt i had unprotected during it [which i know does not sound very nice]. Anyway, my period stopped after i had , and hasnt come back yet [its been only a day]....Anyone know whats going on?
