I type fast, but not the correct way. Is it worth learning the right way?

I never took typing in high school, so I learned to type my own way. I type pretty fast, but it's not the correct way. I also seem to make more typos and have to go back and correct myself. Do you think it's worth relearning to type the correct way, so that I could reduce my typos and speed up my typing even more?
