Can anyone help me out?

I just wanted to know what you think about my situation.My girlfriend whom i live with and her kids has reconnected with an old friend from her past online.I know they did not have a romantic relationship.But it seems since talking to him she has become unhappy with our relationship.Do you think she is infatuated with the idea of reliving her past? before kids and responsibility?She seems be able to talk to him about anything.Now he has a girlfriend too that he lives with and they have been thru alot together much like us...what do u think? am i looking at getting hurt???
